Top girl grappler Amazon is heading to Peacehaven for the next big Wrestling Spectacular at the Meridian Centre on February 28.

The West Indian star is lined up to provide a huge test for “Little Miss Dynamite” Erin Angel, who was an instant hit with fans when she defeated Ireland’s Rhia O’Reilly when ladies wrestling made its debut at Peacehaven last year.

Show organiser Debbie Donovan said: “The girls proved so popular when they appeared here for the first time that we are bringing them back by public demand. The fans loved Erin, but Amazon will be a new name for the Peacehaven spectators and comes with a big reputation.”

Tickets are already selling fast for the first show of 2015 at the centre, presented by leading UK matchmakers Premier Promotions in conjunction with the Mayor of Peacehaven’s charity fund, and another sell-out crowd is expected for the Saturday night spectacular.

Already announced for the show is the colourful “Polish Eagle” Wolf Alexander, one of the biggest stars of the Premier Wrestling Federation, whose record includes a draw with former American TNA and Ring of Honour champion Doug Williams. Other stars set to appear include Southern Area heavyweight champion Kris Kay and Sussex high flyer Carl Brady, one half of the Sussex Checkmates tag team. Tickets for the show are available from the Information Office at the Meridian Centre, priced £10 for adults and £9 for concessions. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £36.
