Yapton road is re-opened after car crashes into railway crossing gates

Motorists using the B2132 North End Road were held-up after a car collided with level crossing gates at North End closing the route.

The incident happened at 10.18am this morning (Tuesday, May 27).

No one was hurt. The car involved was a silver Volkswagen Golf.

The road and crossing were reopened to traffic and trains at 11.52am.
