Young actors ‘fly’ off to Edinburgh Fringe

Young actors from Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre are boarding the Arabian Nights magic carpet, taking Sheherazade’s stories to audiences at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

But before they head north, the company will play four performances in the Mill Studio at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre from Thursday to Saturday, August 11 to 13.

Long ago in a far off land a King is to be married to the beautiful Sheherazade. No one is celebrating, for the brutal King Sharyar has executed 1000 wives before her. The same fate awaits Sheherazade. Only her gift of storytelling can save her life.
