In 1987 their now dance teacher and choreographer and principal of the school received the same cup for achieving 90 marks in her solo.

The cup winners Emma and Kayna were invited to dance at the winner’s concert at The Congress Theatre Eastbourne where their award was presented by The Mayor.

Proud teacher, Vikki Harris - pictured with the two dancers - was amazed to see that her name was still on the trophy nearly 30 years later.

Congratulations to the other dancers from the school that were also successful in the competition. All the dancers can be seen as part of the school’s 60th Anniversary show at The Hawth Theatre on July 16 and 17.
