The police force donated a cheque for £275 to fund the new, free Into Film Club, which is based at the Angmering Community Centre, in Foxwood Avenue.

The club launched on May 1 and will run on the first Friday of every month. It’s hoped 30 children will be able to attend in the future.

A total of ten youngsters attended the club’s inaugural meeting, which screened the movie Paddington.

PCSO Becks Bernier, who presented the cash to the centre, said: ” I am pleased to present this donation which will enable young people to interact with other members of the community in a safe environment.”
