The event is co-ordinated by the Bexhill Consortium of Schools and will include the launch of the Bexhill Festival Chorus - comprising 250 voices aged between 8 and 80.

The chorus will be conducted by Jozik Kok, and is an idea the Consortium has supported since 2005.

The aim is to see the wider community, beyond schools, involved in making music with young people and eventually the hope is to begin a festival orchestra.

The following schools are taking part in the show:

Primaries: St Mary Magdalene's, Pebsham, Sidley CP, All Saints, King Offa, Chantry, St Peters and St Paul's, Little Common.

Secondaries: St Richard's Catholic College and Bexhill High

Plus musicians from Bexhill College.

Tickets 5 and 3 for children, and are available from the DLWP Box Office.
