Your chance to play at Lewes FC

As part of Chandlers £50k Challenge, the Lewes branch of Chandlers Building Supplies has joined forces with local construction recruitment specialists, Foyne Jones, to organise a charity football match – and they are giving people the chance to bid to play in the game.

For the opportunity to play a guaranteed 60 minutes of football at The Dripping Pan, the home of Lewes Football Club on Tuesday, May 7, local men and women can bid for a place in either the Chandlers or Foyne Jones team. All they need to do is confirm how much they would like to donate to the campaign, then the two highest bidders will be chosen to play.

All the money raised from the charity football match will go to the Chandlers £50k Challenge charity appeal. The campaign is taking place throughout 2013 and in that time Chandlers is aiming to raise £50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Tim Parsons, Branch Manager at Chandlers Lewes, commented: “Foyne Jones came to us with this idea and we’re delighted that they are helping us to reach our £50k target, but we now need people from the local community to come out and play for us.

“The ground will also be open for people to come down and watch; we can’t guarantee lots of quality football, but it will be a fun evening for a great cause.”

To make a bid to play a guaranteed 60 minutes at The Dripping Pan, please email by Wednesday, May 1, confirming the amount you would like to donate, your name and contact details and whether you would like to play for Chandlers or Foyne Jones or either.
