Since the Headteacher of Nalango School visited us in September 2015, we have held a number of fundraising events and have raised a wonderful total of £725.

So far, students have held a cake sale and an Easter egg raffle, and proceeds from a non-uniform day were put towards the Nalango total. Students also participated in a sponsored walk in the Sussex countryside.

The money raised will pay for a classroom furniture package consisting of tables, chairs, cupboards and shelves at Nalango Primary School. The furniture will have the words ‘Donated by Farlington School’ stencilled on them.

We hope the package will make a real difference to the young people at Nalango Primary School.

Currently, some of their classrooms lack the furniture needed to meet the students’ needs and to teach effectively.

Thank you to everyone at Farlington for their fundraising efforts and please look out for future events to support Nalango School!
