Tara Godding told the County Times: “We were so inundated that we actually had to turn people away by 3pm as we had managed to fill the hall to capacity! Volunteers of all ages turned up to help - children packed bags and wrote up labels. We had ladies drop off home baked cakes to keep us all going! Special mention to the event organiser Cerian Sims Schaus and the charity Anaya Aid for collecting the donations from the church hall. Big thank you to St Leonard’s Church’s reverend for letting us use their hall.”
