A27 funding comes not a moment too soon

At last and not before time, there is £75 million of funding to improve the A27 from Lewes to Polegate.

As a professional driver, I use the A27 every day. The sheer weight of traffic make it accident alley. It’s taken Maria Caulfield, the prospective Conservative MP for Lewes one year to get funding for the A27. Its taken Norman Baker MP how many years? Too many years to achieve no funding for the A27.

In fact he appears to be anti on any road funding. Oh sorry almost forgot two signs at tax payers’ expense, to tell us its quicker by train from Lewes to Polegate – great news when sitting in a traffic jam driving a 44 ton articulated lorry trying to deliver essential goods.
