I was interested in Rita Boswell’s pertinent first impressions of Seaford (letters 3 October).
In particular I endorse her criticism of the indoor swimming pool. This antiquated pool has a small communal changing area, a single shower and insanitary conditions.
In these health-conscious times it is extraordinary that it has not been replaced.
On a more positive note, I would congratulate the organisers of the floral displays around the town this year. Wonderfully colourful and well-maintained, they are a credit to the town.
