Alps airline atrocity - doctors should be required to issue dual sick notes

Regarding the Alps atrocity by the co-pilot who was declared “sick” on the day of the flight, there should be a requirement that doctors issue a dual note to the airline that should then ensure that the person definitely does not fly.

Such a requirement should, of course, also be extended to other occupations where the person has potentially, the lives of others in their hands. Most doctors now use a computer to issues a note so it would simply be a matter of ‘copying’ to the patient’s employer.
