Beechwood Lane - money remains a problem

I am writing to object about the huge amount of money that is to be spent on the short footpath in Beechwood Lane.

I think the full amount of money needed is not yet available.

If there was a slow speed limit, mark on the road, this would be such a small cost and all walkers cyclists etc would be safe.

It is a small country lane and if two large vehicles were going opposite ways, one could easily damage the footpath causing more expense to repair.

Many motorists turn into Beechwood Lane from the A27 going too fast and have not slowed down in the lane. A warning sign is needed. Surely there are people who wish to enjoy its beauty.
