Confined to home due to unfair request by bus company

As a wheelchair user for ten years, I have been able to enjoy independence by using the B&H buses regularly.

I have always sat facing forwards, perfectly safely.

Now, due to new management, the driver insists that I sit facing backwards.

I have a gastric complaint which causes nausea when travelling backwards. I have requested an exemption certificate, which has been ignored.

On all London buses, I am allowed to ride up the rear ramp and travel facing the window. Now I am confined to my house, unable to travel on the local buses.

As the disabled are encouraged to embrace life, this is a ridiculous and unfair situation.
