WHEN a company bought the Thai Restaurant in Ringles Cross and turned it into flats and their offices, I was impressed with the development.
The company says they are ‘proud’ of their work and their ‘contribution to the Uckfield area’, but they seem incapable of cutting the hedge round their property.
Walking on the very narrow pavement is made impossible by their overgrown hedge, particularly as there are vicious spikes at face level.
This will be even more dangerous as the darker evenings approach.
On our road there is no alternative to using that pavement as there isn’t one on the other side.
Every year they have to be asked again and again to cut the hedge, but this year to no avail.
I wonder why they don’t use their own workforce to maintain their own property.
