I CAN’T comment on the technological aspects of fracking, but the legal case seems pretty clear.

Five of the first six clauses of Magna Carta are concerned with the spoliation of estates by those holding them in trust for minors. (“... sine destructione et vasto hominum vel rerum... ”)
