Letters: Fighting the good fight

I have read in the local newspapers about the campaign (CASH) for the health facilities in Seaford. In none of the articles has there been any reference to the campaign for better health facilities that has been run for a long time by the Seaford Seniors’ Forum.

A number of forum members have been fighting this issue for at least the past eight years. I believe that the population of Seaford have always thought that better facilities would come because they were essential and that ‘someone’ would sort it out.

The population of Seaford has grown and the necessary services have not grown with it. I would like to see the forum being mentioned in future articles.

The MP and local councillors always get recognition. Norman Baker, in particular, knows very well about the work that has been done by them. He is certainly always keen to be seen to be ‘active’.
