Right to ramble

On behalf of our Ramblers group, active in Ringmer for many years, we would like to endorse the comments made in Clive Hobden’s letter to the Express last week.

The footpaths leading to and surrounding Mill Plain are indeed well-walked and popular, not just with local walking groups but many others, and need to be preserved for the benefit of all.

Ramblers groups exist to safeguard the public right of access to our beautiful countryside and our group is both aware of and concerned about the potential impact of the new turbine on existing rights of access.
