Telecommunications - In Fairwarp we feel as isolated as the Hebrides

Last week BT made a public apology to the residents of Litlington for their phones being out of order for six weeks.

In the village of Fairwarp many residents have been without their landlines since mid December and are unlikely to be reconnected until mid January. As Norman Baker said, this is a disgrace in the age of fast communications. We have no mobile signal in the village. We may be only 35 miles from Westminster but we feel as isolated as the outer Hebrides.
