Thanks to hospital staff

As so many negative comments are made about the Conquest Hospital we feel we needed to make a really positive one.

My partner was in the Conquest Hospital for a week after a total knee replacement.

His consultant who did the operation was Mr Pearce and then he went onto the Cookson Devas Ward.

We really can not thank everyone enough for all that they did.

Mr Pearce took the time to explain everyhting to us in a way that we could understand as did all the staff on the ward including the physiotherapy department.

We found right from phoning to see about the admission date right the way through to his discharge everything went very smoothly.

The care and kindness everyone showed us was first class.

The food which has to be said was very good was serverd by lovely people who were always ready to have a chat which makes such a difference.

My partner is home and doing well.

We even had a phone call from the the ward the day after he was home to see if all was well which we thought was outstanding.

So once again our very grateful thanks to all the staff concerned especially Mr Pearce and all on Cookson ward.
