May I through your column thank the many people who helped me when I fell in Hastings town centre on Monday (December 1). I was the lady in the blue coat and scarf.
So many people took time out from their busy day to help me collect my belongings and ensure that I was ok.
Special thanks to the young man who offered to walk with me to my destination in Wellington Square to ensure that I had not suffered any ill effects from my fall. What a sweet thought! So many times young people are demonised in the press and broadcast media, it is a pleasure to publicise that young man’s kindness and thoughtfulness.
Thank you to all of you, apart from a small graze on my knee and tenderness in one leg, I am perfectly fine and reached my destination safely.
