Uckfield paving job needs to be redone

I wish to comment on the standard of workmanship which has been achieved in laying the paving in Uckfield.

I wish to comment on the standard of workmanship which has been achieved in laying the paving in Uckfield.

I observed yesterday what I assume is the finished product on the east side of the High Street, opposite Bridge Cottage.

If I were laying paving at home on a DiY basis I might just resolve to live with paving laid that badly, knowing my own limitations.

However, had I paid to have it laid I would not be happy. Moreover, had I paid to have it laid by what I can only assume are fully competent, fully vetted and approved to government standard professionals, then I would have already stopped them working and insisted the paving be relayed properly and to a professional standard.

No one person among us is paying for this work, we are all paying for it through our taxation.

Surely the UK can produce better workmanship and achieve better value for money than this shoddy example?

It must not be allowed to go unchallenged.
