This win was not as emphatic as the scoreline suggests and Wick put in a gutsy performance.

In wet and heavy conditions, Regis took the lead midway through the first half with a well-taken goal from Ben Haines.

Livewire Billy Stevens added two before half-time with the visitors looking threatening on the break.

In the second half, with the pitch cutting up rapidly, Regis added to the score through Ryan Barratt and Michael Charman.

Wick replied with a deflected shot but that was followed by two more for the home side from Charman and Stevens, the latter completing a deserved hat-trick to cap an excellent individual performance.
