Youths organise fight at Barnham station

An appeal for witnesses has been made after a brawl at Barnham railway station.

Up to 20 youths gathered at the station for an evening fight. It happened at about 7.30pm on Saturday, December 27, and involved between 15 and 20 yobs aged 14 to 17 years.

The fight then moved on to Farnhurst Road, before returning to the station, where about seven of the youths bordered a westbound train.

Sgt Peter Allan, of Littlehampton police, said the youth alleged to have thrown the first punch was described as wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering on it, and a beanie hat.

Anyone who witnessed the fight, either at the station or in Farnhurst Road, should call BTP on 020 7380 1400.
