Yvie finds sweet way to help African School
Guestling Bradshaw pupil Yvie Ashdown has been busy making and selling home made fudge and chocolate to raise funds for a link school in Gambia.
Yvie has been helped by her mum and sister to sell the treats at festivals and fairs.
Her mum said: “ Yvie has had the opportunity to learn many new skills through this project including budgeting, working with the public and altruism.”
The Gambian school will use the money to buy new ICT equipment.
