Zulu Prince and Amazon on the bill

The Zulu Prince is among the big names lined up to appear on Worthing’s half-term Wrestling Spectacular.

The colourful African heavyweight grappler will be making his debut on a power-packed bill at the Assembly Hall on Thursday, June 2.

Spokesman John Freemantle said: “The Zulu Prince will be in action in one of the feature bouts on the programme when he clashes with comeback star Jace The Ace, one of the most popular wrestlers ever to appear in Worthing.

Jace, a former PWF title-holder, will be making his return to the Assembly Hall ring after an absence of five years, but the fans who made him a cult figure from the time he first appeared in Worthing as a teenager will not have forgotten him or his epic matches against Lee Darren.

Ringsiders, old and new, are in for treat, although Jace could not have picked a tougher opponent and may find The Zulu Prince a hard nut to crack.

One of the strongest line-ups at the Assembly Hall in recent times also includes a PWF championship contest, a ladies bout and an appearance by Wonder Kid Jonny Storm.

Zack Sabre Jr., who has recently returned from a triumphant tour of the United States, battles it out with Andy Boy Simmonz for the middleweight title, while Amazon, winner of the ladies knockout tournament in February, takes on Little Miss Dynamite Erin Angel.”
