Travelodge is recruiting 4,000 people for housekeeping roles - here’s how to apply

Travelodge is looking to fill thousands of positions across the UK this year, ranging from summer holiday cover to new hotel openings.

Hide AdThe hotel chain has recently launched a new recruitment drive, with the hopes of hiring 4,000 people for housekeeping roles this year. The company has said that they highly regard their housekeeping teams, who reportedly spend over one million hours a year making up beds between them.
Travelodge hopes to attract parents who want to return to work by offering flexible hours which are designed around the school run.
Where will the jobs be?
The job opportunities will be in new Travelodge hotels that are set to open this year, alongside extra summer cover and any vacancies that become available in the company's 573 hotels.

Around 150 vacancies of these 4,000 roles need to be filled immediately.
Rebecca Baker, spokesperson for Travelodge, said, "We have made it our mission to help unemployed parents return to work in the hospitality sector and working in housekeeping is a great route in.
"We have a strong established workforce of working parents, offering jobs close to home, flexible hours that can work around the school run, benefits that suit families and a career path into management specifically for mums and dads."
