Over 300 people walked through the doors of The Sussex and Hampshire Cruise and Travel Show at The Charmandean Centre, Forest Road, in Worthing, where Fusion Holidays had brought together suppliers from across the travel industry.

Guests enjoyed free entry and refreshments, attending seminars and browsing the exhibition stands of dozens of holiday providers. Organisers Fusion Holidays were delighted, and said it was the biggest and best they’d ever hosted.

“It was a fantastic event,” says Director of Fusion Holidays, Harry Lightfoot, despite some inauspicious weather, this 3rd annual event proved a smash hit.

There were 31 suppliers offering their expert knowledge and inspiration for a range of holidays, throughout the five-hour show. There were three seminar rooms with 20-minute presentations from all the suppliers running throughout the day.

These offered an enthusiastic crowd lots of helpful information, advice and inspiration on a variety of holidays including cruises and safaris.

And if you didn’t get chance to attend the event, you can still draw on all that expertise – and maybe even still bag one of the deals available on the day, like an upgrade or boosted on-board credit when you book a cruise.

“The cruise market is increasing just now,” he said. “There are more ships going in and out of the UK, which is ideal for people who don’t like flying.”

Safaris and specialist holidays, which offer more of an exploratory or adventure trip, are also very popular, as people want to fulfil their bucket list dreams.
