A flattering finish as Janbooks her place inthe county semi finals
Wealden IBC bowler Jan Noyes reached the semi final of the county singles when she defeated Jill Barker from Grattons 21-12 in a match that was much closer than the scoreline would suggest.
For much of the time their was little to choose bet-ween the players and it was only in the latter stages that Noyes began to pull away.
With a comfortable lead going into the last end there was only a slim chance that she could be overtaken and a well earned four gave her a slightly flattering victory that means she now plays Lyndsey Jamieson of Egerton Park for a final place.
