Actor Martin Clunes at Fontwell Park on Sunday February 28

ACTOR and TV presenter Martin Clunes is coming to Fontwell Park Racecourse this weekend to film for a documentary about the history of the horse.

The star will be at the track near Chichester for the Countryside Race Day on Sunday February 28.

The reason for choosing Fontwell Park is that Clunes owns a share in a racehorse which will be running at the course and footage will form part of the documentary.

The horse is called Buffalo Stampede, a seven year old gelding trained by Grand National winning trainer Venetia Williams.

Countryside Race Day is Fontwell Park's richest day's racing of the season with the feature race, the totesport.com National Spirit Hurdle worth 60,000 in prize money. The first race is off at 2pm
