ANGELS BRINGING TIDINGS OF POINTS?

TONBRIDGE ANGELS come to Woodside on Monday with the worst recent form in the division, winless in six starts, and may even face Rebels' favour-ite forward, Ben Carrington.

The university lecturer is visiting home after his first term in a new job in Texas and was set to train at Woodside last night (Wednesday).

Worthing's home league effort has four wins and four defeats but they have lost their last three matches at home and are in an injury crisis. But a Christmas combination of Carrington on one wing and Liam Collins on the other would serve up a fizzing party cocktail of attacking football.

Worthing won 2-0 at newly managerless Windsor & Eton on Saturday with a brace in only his second game by on-loan striker from Gillingham, Jones Awuah. In contrast, four road wins and a draw speaks for itself.

Windsor, caretaken by three players, were hit by Awuah in the 35th minute when Shaun Grice headed down Michael Phillips' free kick, and again in the 57th after Ronnie Green fed Awuah across the front of the penalty area.

Rebels always had the edge and had numerous other attempts on goal.

WORTHING: Packham; Phillips, Head, Pullan, Knee; Collins, Rogers, Lutwyche, Grice; Green, Awuah. Subs: Carew (Green 83), Pulling (Phillips 86), Olweny (Grice 89), Dicker, R.Pook. Att: 149.
