Annual awards presented by local pony club

The Hon. Daphne Lakin, Vice President of the Branch, presented some of the prizes and was given a bouquet of flowers by Maggie Mockett, District Commissioner. Maggie has just completed her first year in office.

The evening opened with an address about the preceeding year and the successes enjoyed by riders at various competitions. Jane Adams, treasurer, gave a talk on branch finances and the importance of gift aided contributions. It was then the turn of each discipline manager to outline their team's performance throughout the year '“ rallies, show jumping, horse trials, dressage, tetrathlon, polo, mounted games and mushrooms (for the very young).

The Branch Cups this year were presented by our Vice President Daphne Lakin.
