Having been fixtureless on World Cup final day last weekend, H&B will return to Kent One action at home to second-placed Beccehamian tomorrow (Saturday).

Beccehamian have won four of their first five matches and boast comfortably the division’s best defensive record having conceded just 38 points so far.

In fact, Beccehamian haven’t allowed their opponents a point in their last two fixtures and conceded just five in the game before that, although they’ve only played one of the division’s top seven teams so far.

H&B are four points and three places worse off than their opponents, but they’ve already played four of the top seven clubs.

Chris Brooks’ side had won three in a row prior to a 27-17 loss away to unbeaten leaders Sheppey last time out on October 24.

With the World Cup now done and dusted, the fixture list will become a little less stop-start than it has been of late. H&B have matches scheduled for every Saturday until Christmas.

Kick-off at Ark William Parker Academy tomorrow is 2.30pm.
