Anya leads Flyers’ charge to National League glory

Dragonflyers’ Anya Johnston is taking trampolining’s National League by storm as she follows a bronze in Cardiff, silver in Perth and gold in Gillingham with yet another silver medal – this time in Liverpool.

Johnston, 13, is one of the most consistent performers in the league and is highly ranked for national finals in Cambridge in December.

Karis Pullen, 15, will be joining her at the finals after finishing eighth in Liverpool, third in Perth and ninth in Cardiff.

Also there will be ten-year-old Libby Morton and 16-year-old James Smith.

Ellie Morton, Izzy Hauxwell and Taylor Cleall also had good National League seasons, finishing ranked 27th, 33rd and 35th.

Flyers have attended four international events, six national and eight regional, gaining an incredible two European medals, seven national and 66 regional.

For a small club with relatively little training time, that’s a sensational achievement.
