Apuldram anglers reel in the prizes

Apuldram Fishing and Boat Club held a prizegiving evening covering competitions held in 2012.

There were 21 competitions throughout the season including beach, shore and inter-club events.

The weather wasn’t good for fishing with so much rain and wind.

Fishing at Dell Quay, Allan Blamire caught a bass of 7lb, A Wichtowski had a mullet of 5lb 8oz, J Bassett had a flounder of 1lb 15oz and D Barnes caught a silver eel of 1lb 6oz and a bass of 5lb 4oz.

These were among the best fish caught by members in competitions.
