ATHA Showbar hosts top darts night

ONE of the world's leading darts players will star at the ATHA Showbar on Friday November 27.

Scotland's Jamie Harvey will take on local prospect Adrian Gray in what promises to be a splendid night's entertainment.

Tickets are just 5 for adults and 2.50 for under-16s and OAPs. The price also includes plenty of laughs provided by a top comedian. Proceedings get underway at 7.30pm.

Two days later the ATHA, which has now been approved to stage recognised world ranking events, will be the venue for an open darts tournament with a cool 1,000 up for grabs. Early entry costs 10 and entry on the day is charged at 12. A field of over 100 is expected to step onto the oche including a selection of world ranked players such as former world number two Shayne Burgess. The action commences at 10.30am.
