Basketball: Chichester and Bognor teams ready for tip-off

The sides are hoping plenty of local fans get along to support them this season at home matches, which will be played at the university’s Bishop Otter Campus in College Lane.

* Bognor Pirates will be concentrating on the Sussex Men’s League and cup this season - and no longer participating in the National League because of a shortage of players able to commit to the travelling.

Their first home game this Saturday is versus Brighton Cougars, tip-off at 7pm at The Arena Sports Centre, Bognor.

There will be music, a DJ, a raffle and a half-time shootout to win a basketball. Entrance is just £3 for adults, £2 students/concessions and £1 children under 16.
