Become a Football Reporter

The UK's largest online sports content provider is on the lookout for football fanatics to help expand its news team.

TEAMtalk Media Group, owner of sportal.com, football365.com and rivals.net, among others, is offering a free season ticket to one lucky fan of Lewes FC in return for providing reports on the match, gossip and opinion, which will then be featured on the company's websites and in a national Conference round-up.

The company is looking for Lewes biggest fan to regularly attend home matches and write a brief match report, as well as noting down any opinions or rumours they've heard on the grapevine. So whether it's a report on a perfect performance on the pitch, a hopeless home hammering or a moan at the manager, TEAMtalk wants to here from you.

As well as becoming a fully fledged reporter with TEAMtalk, you'll also have the responsibility of vying for those after game interviews with players and managers for further comment on your team and perhaps attending press conferences. If you have a digital camera, you can even take relevant pictures and these can be put on the sites as well. In addition, we'll throw in a few TEAMtalk goodies to make you feel part of the team.

sportal.com Live is the UK's first broadband sports channel, where you can watch live Nationwide Conference games and match highlights for free. News from our winning writer will appear on conferencefootball.tv, confguide.com and other TEAMtalk Media sites.

Andy Roberts of TEAMtalk Media said: "We're dedicated to providing the best possible coverage on the net and that means the Nationwide Conference leagues too. We're looking for fans from the terraces with a passion for their team to inform our readers of what's really going on at the games."

So if you're available for every home game, being Saturday, Sunday or week day, would like a free season ticket for each home game and have a good grip of the English language, write up a short story (about 100 words) on your local team and send it to Richard at Forum Communicate on [email protected]

Entries will then be judged by a panel of senior reporters from the group and one fan from each conference team will be selected to represent TEAMtalk Media for the rest of the season.
