Bell sets the right tone for Horsham Rugby Club in pre-season

Horsham maintained their pre-season success with victory over Heathfield.

Two tries by Will Bell, which he converted himsself set them on course for victory plus another by Jamie Gibbs put them ahead.

Although Heathfield pulled a score back, the victory was sealed with further tries as a result of a powerful run from Jonny Ordidge.

Bell was on target with every conversion with the exception of two that hit the posts.

There are still areas to work on for Horsham in particular line-outs and fielding restarts but this was an encouraging performance for the Green and Whites.

Horsham host Old Mid-Whitgiftians in their final pre-season game this Saturday.
