Bexhill guarantee Sussex League status

BEXHILL Town grabbed the three points needed to guarantee survival in the County League on Saturday.

The last game of the season for the Green Machine ended in a 3-2 victory at Upper Beeding, and means Ansty Rangers and Lingfield can no longer catch them.

Richard Anderson opened the scoring in the 11th minute but Salter restored parity shortly after.

Steve Galt and Steve Cresswell put the visitors 3-1 ahead but a goal from Doo just past the hour made for a tense finish.
