Bognor swimmers go to greath lengths for 50th birthday
Bognor Regis Swimming Club are celebrating their 50th birthday this weekend (Jan 31).
They were formed on January 31, 1965, and this Saturday members will celebrate their golden jubilee with a championship gala at Arun Leisure Centre between 6pm and 9pm.
They would like to invite any former swimmers, coaches or life members to join them for the evening, when they will be able to watch the current swimmers compete. Visitors will also be able to view items from club archives.
Chairwoman Sarah Boote-Cook said: “The club belongs to Bognor so we extend a warm welcome to anyone who would find this event interesting.”
