Booth out of Oxford tie

LEWES suffered a major blow on Wednesday evening when striker Paul Booth limped off in the 2-2 Conference South draw against Dorchester after only four minutes with a badly twisted knee.

He will miss Saturday's big FA Trophy clash with Oxford United but hopes the injury will heal in a fortnight.

Gary Holloway put Lewes ahead from close range on 58 minutes but they conceded two goals to setpiece moves in four minutes.

Matt Groves scored after a corner on 75 minutes and Steve Flack got the second after a free-kick on 78 minutes.

Lee Farrell equalised for the Rooks in the dying seconds, squeezing the ball home from an acute angle.
