Bosham sailors get their message across at the Palace

The annual Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace was buzzing with more than 9,000 visitors.

And many of them visited Bosham Sailing Club’s stand with a view to finding out more about sailing in the area.

A significant number signed up for more information on joining.

Vice-president Ron Hastie said visitors to the stand were very impressed by the facilities the club had to offer and the amount of racing planned for 2011, as well as the training on offer for adults and kids alike.

“This year we have so many open meetings, club races, cruiser rallies and the Bosham classic boat revival meeting on June 25 and 26.

“It’s not surprising Bosham is a very attractive proposition for people looking to join a club on Chichester Harbour,” he added.
