The top class cast read Dave Bishop, Trevor Bloomfield, George Doolan, Joey Ellis, Freddie Frewin, Dave Harris, Joey Lee, Paul Martin, Micky Richford, Brian Robinson, Lee Salmon, Gary Smith, Bertie Symes and Bert Wilders.
All the stars of yesteryear did some pad work to help raise funds for the Hastings Ex-Boxers Association, which helps boxers who have fallen on hard times and local charities such as the Oliver Curd Trust.
Bishop, West Hill’s current head coach, said: “It was a really good night. Dave Harris put on a great show. Everybody enjoyed it and we raised plenty of money.”
Sold out within a week of tickets going on sale, the show was filmed by Glenn Veness. A copy will be given to Hastings Museum and others will be on sale. The evening also included a karaoke, disco and buffet.
