And now the Team Wiseman ace is dreaming of the Commonwealth Games after England Boxing Youth Championship victory in Rotherham.
Chamberlain overcame old foe Ben Marksby at the last stage with a memorable performance.
That ensures England selection for the Three Nations competition in April.
The 18-year-old picked up victory at 60kg against his decorated opponent from Darlington.
And it was a final contest worthy of the occasion as both boxers showcased their quality.
Chamberlain came out with a split-decision win, however, to claim the title.
It’s been all about doing the business throughout the competition to date for the talent. That’s seen Chamberlain go about his work with a steely determination throughout.
But coach, Daron Wiseman, explained the exciting prospect managed to crack a smile after taking the belt.
He said: ‘It was absolutely brilliant.
‘Credit to Marksby, he boxed beautifully – as did Mark.
‘They are two seasoned boys who looked as good as each other. We thought if we came out strong in the third round we had it – and that’s what Mark did.
‘All the hard work he put into training paid off big time. Everything went perfectly.
‘It was pretty emotional. I even saw a smile from Mark. It’s the first time he’s done that in his life! He’s picked for England now and the Commonwealths have been mentioned. We’d love a shot at that.’
Team Wiseman boxer, Lewis Dentith’s bid for the title came to an end at the semi-final stage when he was disqualified after his clash with eventual champion Ben Vaughan.
