BROADWATER'S BOWLERS PAY UP
SKIPPER Steve Collins blasted his Broadwater bowlers after they allowed leaders Ifield past their 179 for nine with only two wickets down and in just 35.1 overs at the Green on Saturday.
"The worst bowling since I've been here," he declared. "Absolute rubbish line and length, four-balls every over and it was no better two games before against Findon."
Broadwater are missing paceman Fitzroy Hodges whose elbow injury is restricting him to batting in the 2nd XI where he scored 105 not out on Saturday.
Might he be promoted soon? Collins: "Some of us in the batting line-up need to get our act together."
