After a disappointing result in the home match two weeks ago, the Premier team were determined to improve.

In the first session they managed one win and one draw to take three points out of eight but reversed this in the second session, taking five points to make it 8-8, but they were behind on shots 91-88.

After lunch they won one of the singles and one of the pairs, but took the bonus points in the pairs and the match was all-square going into the final session.

With a win by one triple and by one of the fours, the result hung on the second fours game and the last game to finish.
