Burgess Hill Runners achieve maximum participation points

Burgess Hill Runners again achieved maximum participation points the 7th West Sussex Fun Run League event, sending a team of 25 to Trundle Hill at Lavant for the tough hilly event.

Paul Sargent, taking a break from his long distance efforts, finished 3rd overall of the league entrants in 39m 58s, and was ably supported by Jason Collett (10th, 42.42) and Mark Nicholls (13th, 43.17) in scoring maximum league points. James Sorbie (46.36), Andy Bradford (47.22) and Trevor Symes (48.14) also scored well.

The ladies were led home by Elona Smith (57.41), Katia Hannah (59.20) and Emma Fernandez (60.59) leaving the club in a superb second place on the night.
