Burgess Hill Runners take part in the Hedgehoppers 5

Another excellent turnout saw 30 Burgess Hill Runners take part in the latest West Sussex Fun Run League event, the Hedgehoppers 5 hosted by Portslade Hedgehoppers.

James Sorbie continued his strong recent form, heading the club’s runners in 37th place overall in a time of 36 mins 42 seconds. He was supported by Alan Fry (53rd in 38.06), Andy Sayers (58th, 38.20), Trevor Symes (59th, 38.21), Stuart Condie (66th, 39.33), and Andy Bradford (82nd, 40.35).

Hannah Katia was the club’s first lady finisher in 47.30 (178th), closely followed by Sheryl Caldecourt (181st, 47.46), Emma Fernandez (187th, 48.00) and Di Delderfield (207th, 50.19).
