A team of 11 runners (plus support crew) spent the hottest weekend of the year so far completing the Green Belt Relay.

Starting on Saturday morning at Hampton Court, the 220 mile route takes in most of the Green Belt way that circles London, finishing in nearby Kingston-Upon-Thames and is broken into 22 legs varying from 6 miles up to 13.5 miles, each runner completing one leg on Saturday and one leg on Sunday. The team, captained by Neil Dawson who along with Steve Roberts got the club into this race and organised things brilliantly, did superbly finishing the race in 36 hours 31 mins and 20 seconds and in 31st place overall.
